What truly stands out at La Corregidora is their standout menu that features mouthwatering tortas, tacos, gringas, and an assortment of delightful cakes. Customers rave about the tortas, describing them as gigantic and bursting with flavor. Parthiv Patel and Katie Morford echo this sentiment, noting the perfect pairing of salsa verde and peppers that complements the rich ingredients.

As ROCIO PENA points out, the prices are incredibly reasonable, with tacos at just 22 pesos each and luscious cakes priced at 85 pesos.
The quality of the food mirrors the care put into its preparation. Whether you opt for the northern or Michoacana cake, you can expect each bite to dance with delightful flavors, enhanced with complimentary lemons and a choice of zesty salsas. It's a remarkable blend of taste and tradition!

“ Their Tortas and quesadillas were delicious! The salsa verde and peppers were the perfect match. Would highly recommend grabbing food here and sitting in the square for a great afternoon ”
“ The place is quite small, they sell tacos, cakes, gringas, soft drinks and water. The service is good and fast, they have small tables so you can sit either downstairs or upstairs. The price of the cakes is 85 pesos, the gringas are 55 pesos, the flavored waters are 23 pesos, and the tacos are 22 pesos. What we tried, the northern cake and the Michoacana cake, seemed delicious, they gave us lemons, red sauce, green sauce and bullfighting green chiles (take-out service). Everything they served us was clean although we would like them to use face masks and caps to protect the food when preparing it. ”
“ The food here is puesto/street style. I highly recommend the tortas. The service is rapid. The food comes out very quickly. If you want an inexpensive bite to eat....this is the place. ”
“ Great flavors affordable prices. The gigantic tortas are truly gigantic—I couldn’t finish one. ”
“ Just good quality traditional tacos, tortas and gringas for a great price. They have a small upstairs seating area looking down on the park. ”
“ Highly recommended, the establishment is very clean and pleasant, the cakes are very good, size for 2 people, price-quality and super excellent attention and express service ”
“ Best tacos in town! You won’t regret it! ”
“ I went two consecutive nights with my sister for cakes/gringas and one morning for cakes with takeaway service and we were very satisfied with the quality/price of the food. Personally, I recommend the "Nortena" cake, which has beef milanesa, Oaxaca cheese and pineapple with its respective mayonnaise, tomato, onion, avocado and chipotle. What complements the pancake are the bullfighting chilitos and that green sauce that should be spicier for greater delight. Although the place is small, it is very clean and safe, orders do not take more than 5 minutes per customer and it is a fairly economical place to have breakfast, lunch and dinner delicious and cheap. ”
